Lappings, Lemel & Sweeps – Stories from Hatton Garden, digital:works film made with jewellery students from across London has reached over 1,000 online plays within a month of going live. Added to the 120 people who turned up to the launch screening and another 40 at a screening at Kensington & Chelsea College. It doesn’t stop there as DVDs have been distributed to schools local to Hatton Garden who are keen to show it to their Year 6 classes as an example of local history and many jewellery colleges such as the Hatton Garden-based Holts Academy are showing it to their students.
