Last Friday Best of Britannia hosted a screening of Lappings, Lemel & Sweeps – Stories from Hatton Garden at the Farmiloe Building in Clerkenwell. It was introduced by Jason Holt from Holts Academy and Robert Holt who features in the film.

Best of Britannia showcases the best of British craft, design and manufacture and sought out the film to highlight how the jewellery industry has changed over the years and has led to the current crop of designer/makers making a splash in today’s design-led industry.

Maggie Norden from the London College of Fashion watched the film and called it “A gem” – which was rather clever we thought.
